    The Kilkenny is a fabulous pub off the beaten track. It has a good atmosphere and is a great date venue.

    THe food is amazing but a little pricey.

    Great place to sit by the fire in winter and enjoy some great food

    Very nice country pub.  Has only been open for 4 months after a long closure.  The new owner is very friendly and accommodating.  The pub itself is very nice with comfortable seating, with a nice bright atrium in back.  

    Menu is excellent and full of more upscale dishes such as risotto with goat's cheese, and pea soup with truffle oil.  The bar has a few real ale selections from Well's, including Bombardier.

    Kilkeney Inn is a worthwhile stop if you're heading down the A40 or are just out for a hike.
